CCHS Athletic Facility Directions

From I-64 East: Follow I-64E / I-77S to Exit 99-Greenbrier St./Airport exit. Stay in the middle lane and turn left at the stop light. Proceed up Greenbrier St. and turn right at the second stop light onto Hillcrest Drive. Continue on Hillcrest to the top of the hill, and enter into Hillcrest Office Park (straight ahead just past the Wells Fargo Insurance Services). Just after entering the office park, bear left onto the first road on the left and continue straight to the CCHS Athletic Complex. Follow the green and white CCHS signs for parking.

From I-77 North / I-64 West: Follow I-77N to Exit 99-Greenbrier St./Airport exit. Bear right at the bottom of the exit ramp and proceed up Greenbrier St. Turn right at the first light unto Hillcrest Drive and proceed on Hillcrest to the top of the hill, and enter into Hillcrest Office Park (straight ahead just past the Wells Fargo Insurance Services). Just after entering the office park, bear left onto the first road on the left and continue straight to the CCHS Athletic Complex. Follow the green and white CCHS signs for parking.

From I-79 South / I-77 South: Proceed on the interstate to the I-64 / I-77 split and follow
I-64 East / I-77 South towards Beckley to Exit 99-Greenbrier St./Airport exit. Stay in the middle exit lane and turn left at the stop light unto Greenbrier St. Proceed under the overpass in the right hand lane to the second stop light and turn right unto Hillcrest Drive. Continue on Hillcrest to the top of the hill, and enter into Hillcrest Office Park (straight ahead just past the Wells Fargo Insurance Services). Just after entering the office park, bear left unto the first road on the left and continue straight to the CCHS Athletic Complex. Follow the green and white CCHS signs for parking.

Parking: There is a limited amount of parking available on the lot in front of the Athletic Facility. Some spaces are marked for Handicapped Parking and reserved for game officials and media coverage. There also overflow parking available on our lower parking lot, off of Dee Drive and the State Building (available after 5:00 pm) just before you get to the Athletic Facility.

Bus Parking: Parking is available for teams traveling by bus on our lower parking lot, off of Dee Drive. Drivers may drop off teams at the front door and then pull around to park (follow the steps and sidewalk to the Gym).

For Cross Country

Camp Virgil Tate (from Sissonville) : Routh 4, Box 141-B, Chas., WV 25313. Go north on I-77 to Tuppers Creek exit. Turn left on Tuppers Creek Road, and proceed to U.S. 21. Turn right on U.S. 21 (north) to Sissonville High School. At Sissonville High School, turn left on Route 622. Veer left on 622 at a compressor station. About 1/4 mile after the compressor station, turn right across a bridge. Stay on that road about 1.5 miles to the lodge.

Camp Virgil Tate (from Cross Lanes): Go west on I-64 to Cross Lanes exit and continue north on Big Tyler Road to intersection of Rocky Fork Road (Route 622). Turn left on Rocky Fork Road, go approximately five miles to a bridge on the left. Turn left, cross the bridge and proceed about 1.5 miles to the lodge.

For Soccer:

Schoenbaum Field:

Go north on Greenbrier Street beyond Airport Road. Turn right on Coonskin Drive and continue beyond the armory and the tennis courts. Turn right after crossing the railroad tracks. continue beyond the golf course to Schoenbaum Field, on the right.

Shawnee Field:

Go west on I-64 to the Dunbar exit. Turn right after exiting proceed under the interstate and right (west) on Fairlawn Avenue. (Routh 2). Stay on Fairlawn to Shawnee Golf Course (on left just beyond King Street. Field is to the left of the lodge.

From Charleston and Points East:
-- I64 West to Exit 55 – Kanawha Turnpike.
-- Continue 1.2 miles on Kanawha Turnpike through Rt. 601 intersection.
-- Left on to Spring Hill Avenue(Large Sign to Little Creek Park).

From Spring Hill Avenue:
-- Continue .5 mile up hill to entrance to Little Creek Park on left.
-- Continue on Little Creek Park Dr. for .4 miles.
-- Left on Charles Hagerman Way towards “The Rock.”
-- Continue for 1 mile.
-- Go past “The Rock” and continue up the hill.
-- Left on Harold Bishop Dr.
-- Continue up the hill to the Big League Field.
-- Park in designated spots along the left field line or in the lot behind the left field fence.

From Points South:
-- 119 (Corridor G) past South Ridge to Davis Creek/Jefferson Road Exit in South Charleston.
-- Left on Jefferson Road, Rt. 601.
-- Continue to Kanawha Turnpike intersection at light.
-- Left on Kanawha Turnpike for .5 mile to left on Spring Hill Avenue.
-- Follow directions from Spring Hill Avenue above.

From Points West:
-- I64 East toward South Charleston.
-- Exit 54, MacCorkle Ave./Jefferson Rd. Exit.
-- Left on MacCorkle Avenue.
-- Quick left on to Jefferson Road, Rt. 601.
-- Continue past South Charleston Rec Center.
-- Right on Kanawha Trunpike.
-- Continue .5 mile to left on to Spring Hill Avenue.
-- Follow the directions from Spring Hill Avenue above.

From Points North:
-- I77 or I79 South to Charleston.
-- I64 West in Charleston.
-- Follow the directions from Charleston above.
