1. I-64 East to Exit 85 (Chelyan). Get in left lane to cross the bridge. Get in right lane after the light which is on the bridge. Turn right at the end of the bridge onto Route 60.
2. Stay on Route 60 to Gauley Bridge (approximately 22 miles). (This is a windy, two-lane road through a lot of little towns; takes approximately 20 minutes to drive).
3. When the road becomes four lane, look for a big white & green sign above the road to turn left onto Route 39. Go through town (a short distance) and go under a railroad bridge.
4. When you go under the railroad bridge (main road through town) just a little further up there will be a Go Mart on your right and a fire department on your left.
5. Turn left beside the fire department.
6. Go to the top of that road where you will see a railroad crossing (1st one). Also, you will see a Baptist Church on top of the cliff.
7. Stay on the road when you go across the railroad track (there will be red road sign saying softball field approximately 1.5 miles up the hollow). The road goes to the right and behind the church.
8. Farther up the hill, you will see a sign on the left for Sugarloaf Lane. Immediately after the sign, the road will bear to the left and fork to the right (up a steep hill). Do not take the right fork. Stay to the left. If you see a small creek running by the road on the left, you are on the correct road.
9. Stay on that road and go past the football field (on the right) and you will come to the softball field on your right. Park on street. Parking is limited.

Stay on Route 85 from Madison toward Van approximately 12 miles. The softball field is approximately 8 miles past Van in Wharton. In Wharton, pass underneath the coal tipple and across the RR tracks. The field is on the left. Parking lot entrance is at the lower end of the fields.

1. Take I-77 North towards Parkersburg for approximately 35 miles to Ripley US 62 South. Exit 138. (DO NOT take the Ripley-Fairplain Exit. WV 62 South is approximately another 4-5 miles).
2. Turn left onto WV 62 South, which eventually joins with WV Route 2. Drive 9 miles to a stop sign and turn left onto WV Route 2/US 62. Drive 5.1 miles to the Exxon station.
3. At Mt. Alto, WV Route 2 goes straight and WV 62 South branches off to the right past the Exxon station. Take WV 62 South to Hartford (you go through New Haven just before Hartford) for approximately 15.5 miles (sign says Pomeroy, OH).
4. The ballfield is on the left hand side of the road. . (If you pass the golf course, you have gone too far).There is a sign “McKinney Hunting & Bow Club”. Turn onto that concrete/gravel road. Park in the fields to the right. Ball fields are just past the parking area.
