Parent Conference Details
Parent conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, from 8 a.m. to noon, 1 to 5 p.m, and 6 to 9 p.m. You may call the office at 304-342-8415 between 8 a.m and 3:30 p.m. to schedule conferences.
Sixth grade conferences will be held in the library. Parents will wait in the hallway outside the library. At the scheduled conference time, four sets of sixth grade parents will enter the library, and each will meet with one of the sixth grade teachers, who will be spread out around the library. A timer will ring every six minutes and parents will rotate to the next sixth grade teacher. After meeting with each teacher, all four sets of parents will exit the library and a new group of parents will enter.
Seventh and eighth grade conferences will be held in the Commons. Parents will wait in the hallway outside the office. At the scheduled conference time, five sets of seventh and eighth grade parents will enter the Commons, and each will meet with one of the middle school teachers, who will be spread out around the room. A timer will ring every five minutes and parents will rotate to the next teacher. After meeting with each teacher, all five sets of parents will exit the Commons and a new group of parents will enter.
**Please note: Mrs. Hayes and Ms. Dorsey teach both sixth grade and seventh/ eighth grade. On conference day, they will be meeting with sixth grade parents. However, each will leave information for the parents of seventh/ eighth grade students who they teach. If you have specific concerns, please call Mrs. Hayes or Ms. Dorsey the week before conferences to talk with them. **
High school conferences will be held in each teacher's classroom. Conferences will last for 10 minutes.
