I recently viewed a clip from WVU President Gordon Gee's Gee Mail, where he regularly shares insights and tidbits on life and happenings at West Virginia University. He references the onslaught of negativity in social media and the nightly news and recommends that while it is important to be serious about one's work, it is just as important not to take one's self too seriously.
